Each DCW employee receives extensive training and testing to ensure they are equipped to deliver essential care services effectively.
Focuses on providing methods and training designed to enhance a member's independence and life skills. As a teaching service, habilitation is often integrated into daily activities, such as learning to prepare a meal or manage personal finances. Habilitation services can be delivered either in the member’s home or within their community.
Provides trained personnel to temporarily supervise and care for a member, giving relief to their primary caregivers. Parents and guardians do not qualify for respite care.
