AHCCCS provides health care coverage to individuals and families in AZ with low income, including children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. The program is funded by both the state and federal government and offers services including doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, mental health services, and long-term care
The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) provides services to help individuals with disabilities live independently and thrive in their communities. Support includes residential care, employment services, therapies, and early intervention for those with qualifying conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and intellectual disabilities. DDD partners with AHCCCS and other agencies to offer comprehensive care.
The Arc of Arizona is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). They advocate for inclusion, improve services, and connect families, all while promoting independence and opportunities for people with IDD across the state.
